In the interest of safety for our students and teachers, our students have been learning virtually for the last 4 months. Unfortunately, the platforms our students need to use are not compatible with the tablets they received. Our students each require a bluetooth mouse to connect to their tablets, which do not have USB ports for a wireless or wired mouse. With these mice, they will have access to differentiated curriculum that moves at their learning pace, supporting struggling learners and English learners as well as our students who need to be challenged. Bluetooth mice will support equitable, quality education for all Kindergarten students at Sherwood Elementary in the midst of increased financial disparity and technological difficulties. The parents of Sherwood Elementary School consistently support and encourage their children; this year, they have been asked to go above and beyond as their children complete their first year of school at home. We humbly ask for you prayers as we teach and learn alongside our students in this tumultuous year, as well as your financial support. We greatly appreciate any and all support!
