Students are sitting at home, staring at an iPad screen while doing their best to stay engaged. The math items selected will help with that challenge. Effective math instruction involves modeling math concepts in real-time. Physical models for base-ten concepts play a key role in assisting students in developing the idea of "a ten" as both a single entity and as a set of 10 units. Students can use the magnet ten-frames to model and "act out" math problems. The magnet ten frame boards work as a whiteboard and a manipulative workspace to allow students to engage in cooperative learning at home and school. The overall concept of the project is to encourage pictorial cooperation in all environments
