PreK is all about hands-on learning. One of the skills we need to work on the most to get them ready to write is fine motor skills. Puzzles and legos are perfect for this. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I'm in need of more floor puzzles and legos so they don't have to worry about germs and we have enough time to disinfect all of them before other kids use them. Because kids are learning both English and Spanish, Floor puzzles are great to learn and review new vocabulary. These puzzles are also great to be used during naps because they're a quiet activity for the kids that don't take a nap anymore. PreK is also a great time to work on collaboration and learning to be a great partner and friend. Puzzles are better made with 2-3 kids, so they get to practice these skills.
