As a second year teacher, I have been planning my ideal classroom environment since my first year of college. I dream of a classroom filled with flexible seating options that allow students choice, movement, and comfort. I've seen firsthand the impact of choice on my first grader's engagement and productivity. With your donation, this dream will become a reality. Here's a peek at what my classroom could look like with your support: - Desks with wobble stools perfect for 6 year old wiggly bodies - Low tables with comfortable floor seating to provide choice - Standing tables - Small group kidney table with wobble stools I want to eliminate name tags and assigned seats and give my students the choice to choose where they can learn best. With your donation, my students will have increased focus, engagement, and attention as they choose a learning spot to fit their needs, whether that’s a wobble stool, regular chair, or a floor seat.
