Many of our students learning from home need headphones to help hear the teachers more clearly and for the teachers to deliver better instruction. The students learning from home are in very small apartments with other siblings learning and the apartments tend to be loud making it difficult for the students to hear. In addition, many of our students have ADHD and the manipulatives help them remain engaged and motivated. The snacks are needed as many of our students are low-income families who can't afford to buy the extra little snacks our students crave and they motivate them to remain engaged when we tell them we will send them home. The items that will be purchased will help the students in so many ways.
