Children learn in different ways. Learning is affected in different ways from how students are seated, to manipulatives, to books they read, and things they touch. Much of learning is experiential. I give my students options so they can discover what helps them learn and how to use those "things" that spark an idea or confirm a way of thinking and problem-solving. Giving my students a safe and productive place to learn is my priority. Each child learns differently but every child should be given the same opportunities. As a teacher, it's my goal to provide an place of equality and safety to each student who enters my classroom.
