A greenhouse is a place where plants inhabit and receive specific care based on their individual needs. Greenhouses are typically designed to support maximum plant growth in a safe environment before they are released into the wild to continue on their own. My goal for our classroom is for it to serve as a greenhouse for the students. I desire for it to be a place where students feel safe and loved in order for them to grow into their best selves both academically and emotionally. Once they leave this safe space of learning, I hope they are able to not only thrive individually, but also positively contribute to the outside world around them in all ways.
