I am requesting some decent headphones for my students. The concept of learning remotely looks very different for a lot of students. Many of my kids are in a large room with dozens of other students who are also all learning on a laptop. Many still, are in a room with their own siblings, and hear a lot of background noise from their siblings classes. Often times, when I am having interactions with my students, I hear all the background noise, TV sets, other kids in the house, even police sirens sometimes. I hope that offering some headphones with a microphone will be able to help some kids block out the distractions, as well as communicate with me better.
