This is more than a microscope. This is the ability to allow all students in every science class the ability to look under a microscope and discover a whole new world. We have ponds on campus that are full of plankton/algae. We collected samples, but we only have a few working microscopes on campus so only a select few students were able to see what we discovered! This microscope gives us the ability to take pictures and even videos of what we collect, share those pictures with other classes, and even make posters of our specimens and hang them in our classrooms. We are in the process of creating a top-notch marine and aquatic science program, and with this microscope, we can make that happen!
