Every student needs a break from the normal routine of reading, math, and writing. Although we know those subject areas are so important to a child's educational success, we are also learning on a daily basis that kids need time to engineer and create. These STEM building kits will allow my students to take a break from the normal school routine and will let them use their creativity in many different ways. Working with others and following step by step instructions can be very difficult for many students. These different building kits will allow my students to practice working with others while designing through imagination or step by step activity guides. Though it will be challenging for some, it will also be an amazing time of learning and fun at the same time.
