I believe a good book lends itself to a world of discovery, and it cultivates the enjoyment in becoming an invested reader. This particular book is rich in vocabulary, as well as, lessons about past and present life. It is also an award winning book that offers students a connection with his life and theirs. This novel offers a distinct way to learn what is being taught this school year in Language Arts. When students read a novel together, they become more interested in their learning. Reading a novel is a great achievement and students walk away proud that they have read a book. It's a experience that they never forget.
