The students at Bentley Academy Innovation School are excited about making music, but the school has limited musical instruments for the students to make music with. This is my first year teaching at the school, and many of the classroom instruments are broken, damaged, or very old. Providing these students with new instruments will help me reach my goal of helping students have a positive experience and joy in making music together! Boomwhackers are an exciting and engaging instrument for all grade levels and for teaching many musical concepts! They can be used to teach about pitch, beat, rhythm, composition, melody, harmony, and so much more! Plus, they are easy to clean and sanitize, so they can be enjoyed by all students during this time.
