Your donation will provide each of my students their own copy of a classroom novel. With over 50% of my classroom being English Language Learners, having their own copy of a book in front of them is going to help them tremendously with their reading and listening skills. Being able to read along with me, hold the book in their hands, and reference the text for assignments is really going to be life changing for them. Listening to me read a book can really be a struggle for them. Every student book that is placed in my classroom is treated with love and care. My students are thankful for any opportunity to read in class as they come from low income households where they may not have any books of their own. Thank you in advance for changing my ESL students' lives by helping them comprehend fifth grade novels better and giving them a book to hold.
