I teach an amazing group of 4th graders via Zoom. Adapting our school life from a brick and mortar classroom to a virtual classroom has been a challenge. My students pop on screen with huge smiles and eager to learn. One of the challenges faced is adapting learning from paper and pencil to iPad and keyboard. A Teachers Pay Teachers gift card would provide a variety of pre-made digital tools that can be used to meet the needs of my magical students. We are living in extraordinary times. A Time for Kids subscription would provide current events and great informational text for the kids to read and discuss. Our daily discussions include community and global topics. A digital age appropriate resource like Time for Kids fosters their curiosity.
