Technology is playing a bigger and bigger role everyday in our classrooms. IPads provide a versatile, easy to use resource for my students. We teach through theme, therefore research is a large part of our curriculum. I love providing multiple opportunities for students to get their hands on good non-fiction books for research, however it is beneficial for them to also learn how to access appropriate information on the internet through a digital platform. IPads offer an easy to use, kid friendly, kid sized device for research and many other things. On these iPads students can access a variety of learning games as well as digital versions of the curriculum we use everyday in the classroom. In addition, iPads provide students with the ability to use camera and video to produce quality presentations all on one digital device. The white board will provide a large teaching surface that can be easily viewed by ALL students, regardless of their location in the classroom. This year, to help stop the spread of Covid-19, students are not coming to the rug for learning times. The smaller boards we have used in the past for group learning times are no longer sufficient for whole class viewing. This white board is high-quality and made to withstand the daily use we will put it through!
