The remote learning classroom has made it so difficult for students to really interact with one another in a way that encourages them to develop the inter-personal skills that they will need to be successful as they progress on to colleges and/or careers next year. With only 25% of the students in the classroom on a hybrid day while 75% of the students are learning at home on Chromebooks, I'm hoping to use technology in a way that will encourage thoughtful, intelligent discussion and interaction between my students. At the same time, the restrictions of my current technology prevent me from being to work well with the students in my classroom while still being able to see and interact with the students at home. With the mobile technology cart and larger monitor, I'm hoping that students will feel like they are all active participants in my class.
