Right now, I'm having to hold up papers to a screen and so are my students to show how we are working on problems. Also when we are discussing back and forth about the problems they are solving, we often have to verbally say the equations and write down what the other person is saying. This has proved to be challenging to say the least. With this monitor, we can make it much more clear and dynamic. They can clearly see the problem solving in real time. I can use a stylus to walk them through the problem solving step by step. Also, the second monitor will really help with managing the large quantity of windows needed to be open simultaneously for remote instruction so that they can see more varied and interesting content.
