Students are completing their learning from home 3 out of the 5 days a week. Many students do not have access to a reliable scientific calculator. I would like to check out a calculator for each student to be used while they are enrolled in a math class. Using a calculator effectively is not as simple as giving it to a student and saying good luck. They are many different functions on a calculator that students do not know how to use. I teach them how to enter fractions, logarithms, and trigonometry functions in class, but they need to be able to practice with the same calculator outside of class to ensure they are successful.
