The best way to become a good reader is to read, and my students are doing just that! They have shown a love for and appreciation of books that has astounded me, and I hope to help them continue along this path of becoming confident, independent readers. My goal is to help my students become independent readers who have the confidence to tackle any books they choose, and I believe this project will help me provide a variety of books to my growing readers. In my classroom, we read a lot! I read to the class each day, and my students also have many independent reading opportunities throughout the day. These books will provide my students with new reading material as well as expand areas they have already shown interest in.
