We will use this origami paper to challenge ourselves to make 1,000 paper cranes for the Peace Crane Project which is a paper crane exchange program. This origami paper will not only provide my students an opportunity to practice the art of paper folding, but will also provide opportunities for my students to slow their minds down, reflect, and connect with themselves so that they are able to better connect with others. This project isn't just about learning about origami, it's also about encouraging peace and hope and sharing it.
