As we return to hybrid learning in February, students will be getting art in their classroom instead of the art room. I chose supplies that can be easily used in the classroom setting from an art cart. We will be working on collages and drawings of spring and summer landscapes using flowers and insects for inspiration. We will learn about honeybees (My husband is a beekeeper) and we will create fun and whimsical art using cut paper, collage, markers, glue and colored pencils. We will view the art work of Georgia O'Keeffe, Charley Harper and Henri Matisse.

About my class
