This will allow students to receive prizes for good work and provide us with invaluable class supplies that will help spark learning. The prized are to promote engagement in the classroom and reward bravery in participating. This year is rough as students readjust to in person learning. I want to make math class a positive experience for all my students so that the transition isn't too bad and they do not lose motivation mid way through the year. Motivation is key and prizes support this goal as students do well with external motivation
