The acrylic paints, pastels, and canvases will give the students a much richer connection to an artistic outlet by watching their ideas come to life. The paint brushes and palettes will teach them to have precision, attention to detail, and proper storage routines for future use. The charcoal will teach them how to shade, how to create depth, and how to make objects two dimensional. With all of these materials we will be able to work on one and two point perspectives, landscapes, optical illusions, tertiary color blending, mandalas, and fibonacci spirals. By donating to our project, you will not only help to inspire artistic development and empower students' active imaginations, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement, improve distance learning attendance, and virtual participation.
