Being a student these days is tough! Imagine it's your first day of school ever and you have to meet your teacher on the computer! You don't get to go to a classroom, but instead you try to interact with your peers and teacher on a computer. These are not ideal circumstances for any student or teacher. As educators, we must do everything in our power to make learning meaningful, even during a pandemic! The items I've selected for my students are meant to help them reach their full potential. The flexible seating will allow students to move within the classroom and work independently, while we are not allowed to work within 6 feet of our friends. The hands-on items I've selected will be very helpful. Many of my students need to develop and strengthen their fine motor skills, which will help them hold writing utensils. Students will receive this much needed practice while threading, twisting, and sorting small items. I am so excited to be able to offer these items to my students!
