My students come from all backgrounds and different levels. The majority of them are on a lower reading level, and working in groups is something that is extremely beneficial for their successes in reading. Thee students are working on their Independent Reading goals - stretching out the time they are reading independently. The rug will be helpful to have the students be able to have a safe and comfortable space to read, while I work in reading groups, using the wobble chairs, to help support the students with their reading.
