I am hoping to enhance the classroom experience by being able to do more demonstrations in class. I also hope to set-up individual kits so they are able to do hands on lab activities at home or in the classroom. These would be what I would call kitchen science all house hold materials and available in their homes. A few ideas I have so far to create at home kits or for school are DNA extraction from fruit and biomolecule identification. I would also like to use classroom resources we currently have. Using gloves would allow students to examine things like one skull each desk. I could clean the models along with the desks between classes. With disposal lab materials I was also hoping I could add actual labs to go with virtual labs for the remote learners. If the lab can be done at their lab table.
