The flexible seating selections will provide students the flexibility to move around within their designated areas inside the classroom. Due to social distancing regulations students in the classroom will not be able to leisurely walk around. Students will be sitting at their desks for hours at a time. This is something they are not use to because they have been learning remotely for the past 9 months. Students have been learning from the comfort of their own homes. They have had their stuffies, blankets, and pillows near, and most times they are zooming from the comfort of their bed. Flexible seating will provide students with a home away from home. The different seating options will provide students the ability to move and simply be more comfortable. Flexible seating will allow them to wobble or bounce, sit more comfortably in a chair or on the floor if they choose. Additional the movement will increase oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. This will help keep their minds more alert and focused.
