This year has surely presented us with an unconventional way of learning. Many schools are combining a hybrid schedule with distance learning. At my school, each grade has a designated class for distance learners. My first grade class consists of 13 students who have committed to this form of learning for the entire 2020-2021 school year. We are learning online for approximately four and a half hours per day. That is a lot of screen time! I worry that the amount of blue light exposure daily will affect their eyesight in the long run. Please support a healthier way for my students to learn. Any amount you are able to contribute is extremely appreciated.
