My class has students who are eager to learn and eager to do what "everyone" else can do. I want to help make that happen for them. In our classroom we use a daily routine to increase each students independence. We are working on patterns and organizing personal space and common areas in the classroom, kitchen and laundry room. We need practice with what is practical. These materials will be used on a daily basis for students in a special needs classroom. They will be working on taking care of self-needs such as being able zip, button or tie clothing. In addition, practicing counting and the use of money, daily instruction in reading and math using ten-frames, and geometric shapes. Students will be doing laundry, counting and spending money, life on the job, cleaning and organizing personal space, and learning how to dress and grooming. My kids are amazing and work so hard. They never give up and love to learn.
