The document camera will allow me to model art elements and methods by enabling me to draw live in the classroom and remote. I will use the document camera to guide special needs and grade levels K-5 students in art lessons. My art lessons focus on promoting social emotional learning and cultural awareness. I focus on introducing master and contemporary artists. Then, I demonstrate their method and introduce an element of art focus. Students will be able to better understand the lessons if I have a document camera that would enable me to go through the process and paint with the students live.
