If granted my wish, art materials will be more accessible to our students. It would allow students to check out materials that would be personally theirs to use at home or school. This is especially important during this year as students are trying to limit their contact with shared supplies, and a lot may be spending more time at home having to quarantine and do art remotely. It always breaks my heart when I hear of students who don't even have markers or crayons at home. We would like to provide these basic supplies like markers and crayons and how to draw sheets. Having a creative outlet is extremely important especially to these kiddos who have very routine and study-based lives at school. It would reinforce that art is for everybody, all the time, everywhere.
