I work with many students that have reading and writing disabilities. We recently were awarded a grant for a software program that will assist them with reading (virtually) but it also helps them write using speech to text software. These microphone headphones will enable the students to use the software to its full capability. So many of them will benefit from the use of these devices. It will assist them in 4 different subjects, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies. It will help them get their work done just like their general education peers. It will also greatly assist my students that are working from home during the pandemic.
