I am requesting balance balls and sensory table. Our children are hands-on learners. They need the opportunity to use their senses to understand their world around them. Due to their low income household, many of our children have not had the experiences of exploring different textures and tactile materials and learning they are formed and how they can change form. We would like to provide opportunities for them to experience these kind of learning opportunities. Learning to explore the world around them introduces our children to not only sensory experiences, but they will also learn mathematics as they will learn how to measure, compare and contrast, and count, as well as other areas of learning development. They will learn science as they will learn how liquids and solids can be interchangeable and be able to use scientific inquiry skills and add new language vocabulary as they make predictions and analyze their findings. With your support we can make it happen.
