My students are struggling! Our entire district is teaching virtually. This means my students aren't able to get the calculators they need to complete their work. In Ohio, 8th-grade math students are permitted to use a calculator for the end of year test. However, without them practicing using the specific calculator, they are put at a disadvantage. It would benefit each and every child to have a calculator of their own so when I demonstrate how to find an answer by using them, they would all be on the same page. These calculators are basic, but they are desperately needed. If you can supply any of them, we would appreciate it more than words can say.
