I will use these materials to do virtual demonstrations for my students that are distance learning. All of the items I chose in my cart coincide with 5th grade learning standards. We learn all about magnets and poles, the human body, circuits, the scientific method, and even energy. I can't wait for my students to see these exciting hands on demonstrations. In previous years my students have done so well with the hands on approach, and my goal is to make sure that this years science education is equitable to the past years. I plan on using these materials to do virtual demonstrations since we are learning from afar this year.
