I read today that the amount of books a child has corresponds to their success in school. The predictor of success used to be the level of education of the mother. Now with remote learning, kids can't check out books from the library or borrow classroom books. I want to purchase some books that the kids could read and keep. It will make a big difference to these kids that are struggling with reading. They will begin to develop their own home library and enjoy the books we purchase together!
