My project involves two students who are brothers with the same visual diagnosis. Throughout the pandemic, they are struggling to get the sensory input they need that was available in their inclusion setting at school. The family is doing everything they can to provide stimulation for their children and have created desks and learning areas to be able to successfully work remotely at home. Every student deserves a space where they can learn and explore and be given the opportunities to expand their mind. With the creation of a sensory space for their home, these two brothers who are legally blind, will be able to have the sensory input they need and deserve. By having this space is will positively impact their ability to learn and focus during academic while allowing them the fun and joy that childhood should bring! Thank you so much for your generosity and consideration to this important cause.
