All of these products are going to be used in individual and small-group play therapy to meet the needs of our student population. These supplies will allow students to express and process feelings/emotions and work through problems and trauma in a language they are fluent in, play. Children are unable to fluently express themselves verbally, and the act of play allows for fluent expression as well as a stepping stone into talk therapy or sand tray therapy. The students will be able to use these materials to identify maladaptive behaviors and learn new ways to problem solve, cope, and/or express their behaviors or emotions.
