Virtual conferencing with students is difficult to do on one small screen. With a computer monitor I will be able to separate students into multiple learning groups while being able to monitor and support students properly. With an additional screen I will also be able to share instruction while still be able to view students; this helps me see raised hands, confused faces, and light bulb moments that I don't want to miss! In this virtual learning environment much of the multi tasking is taking place on screens! Planning instruction, virtual conferencing, providing feedback, checking on student progress and work, monitoring the constant influx of student and district emails. A monitor would help this virtual learning classroom grow and thrive!
