Students struggle with staying in their seats all day but can you blame them? When students cannot get their wiggles out their pent up energy goes somewhere right! Now think of students on the autism spectrum or with ADD/ADHD, these kids are constantly ready to go. Believe me, when I say go this can be into the next door classroom, run around the track, into the sink to play with water, and many other fun things. When students are constantly on the move they disrupt their own learning and that of others! Oh but wait... bring in the correct tools they need to get their wiggles out at their own desk and it’s a complete 180. Now we can multitask learning and reducing energy without the commotion throughout the class. With the students now able to use classroom furniture that helps them stay seated, we can now increase learning. Help us with accommodating these students need for more seating options and then get some new learning materials now that they are ready to learn!
