Beginning in June, I will be teaching summer school in our school building. After the challenging year we've had, I want to create a learning environment where the students can have fun while learning in a center-based classroom. My goal is to provide these activities to students so they can become proficient in the areas of literacy and math, prepare for 3rd grade and avoid summer learning losses. It would be incredibly helpful to have TPT gift cards and Lakeshore materials to provide the best learning experience possible. Students will be working on reading comprehension skills, using context clues and strengthening their vocabulary skills with the Language Arts materials and activities. We will play games with money and clocks, and also work on addition and subtraction.
