Our classroom consists of two small carpets laid one on top of the other in the whole group area and the library area. They are old carpets that have been used by many children over the years in multiple classrooms. The vacuum cleaners have a hard time cleaning them thoroughly and their colors are not vibrant from the overuse. With the ongoing pandemic, new carpets will help students stay focused and safe. Carpets have enough space so students are not too close together. At the moment, students are sitting on exercise squares to distance themselves and to not sit directly on the carpet. These carpets will be a great addition to the classroom! Nuestro salón consta de dos alfombras pequeñas colocadas una encima de la otra en el área de todo el grupo y el área de la biblioteca. Son alfombras viejas que han sido utilizadas por muchos niños a lo largo de los años en varias aulas. Las aspiradoras tienen dificultades para limpiarlas a fondo y sus colores no son vibrantes por el uso excesivo. Con la pandemia en curso, las alfombras nuevas ayudarán a los estudiantes a mantenerse concentrados y seguros. Las alfombras tienen suficiente espacio para que los estudiantes no estén demasiado juntos. De momento, los alumnos se sientan en plazas de ejercicio para distanciarse y no sentarse directamente sobre la alfombra. ¡Estas alfombras serán una gran adición al salón de clases!
