Math is everywhere! As adults we use math every day of our lives, but students often find it difficult to make the connection that what they learn in the classroom will translate to their real-world lives. The articles in Scholastic Math are age and grade appropriate and make the connection between classroom mathematics and real-world mathematics. The subscriptions will allow me to expand on the topics we learn in the classroom while also reinforcing literacy skills. Scholastic Math magazine would be a beneficial and worthwhile resource for my math class.
