This 3D printer will be used in a Geometry project where students are creating a 3D model of their own courtyard design. The printer will allow students to actually see their design in 3D and not just on their computer screens. This project will help to support students' understanding of 3D figures. My students can continue to use the 3D printer throughout the entire course to help bring other geometric concepts to life. This 3D printer can also be used for future lessons in geometry on analyzing cross sections of 3D figures. Allowing students to actually see and manipulate the figures will help them gain a deeper understanding.

About my class
