I have found that sketching and reading brought peace and happiness to my students during this difficult time. There were times of uncertainty and sadness during the pandemic. During these times my students tapped into creativity to draw and we read stories to take us on adventures as our overwhelming emotions took over. Being that literature is the foundation of all learning, I could not be happier to give them a book along with other memoirs, for my students to understand that while this was an unforgettable journey, they still learned and the learning will continue far beyond this moment in time.

About my class
