Headphones are an essential tool for students during virtual learning. They will allow my students, most who are English Language Learners, to maintain their focus and keep them on track. Many of them live with other siblings that may also be participating in virtual learning. It’s difficult to get and hold the attention of a whole class, let alone teach them with any kind of individual attention. Headphones are one solution that works. Children will be able to block out surrounding noise at home which will allow them to focus on the material that is being taught. Using these headphones at home will make their learning less stressful. The beneficial impact that headphones have on students' understanding and enthusiasm for the lessons are many.
