These books will help my students to take interest in the books we have on our classroom shelves. They crave literature that is relatable and enticing, but as a teacher I lack the resources to provide them with said materials. Having access to book topics that they are interested in would help them to engage in reading more often, which would naturally lead to an increase in their reading abilities across the board. The pandemic has set them back in more ways than one, but they need to be caught up in their reading skills if they are to continue to aim for success in their academic careers.

About my class
