While it has been challenging to do hybrid learning both from home and in person, it is my mission to provide my students with a quality education in spite of any barriers. At the young, tender age where my students find themselves, new Chromebooks and smart technology will help keep them engaged and connected to their classmates. I also plan on advancing their computer skills to give them an advantage over their peers and equip them for high-level learning. Given the low-income neighborhood most of my students come from, I firmly believe access to quality resources will give them confidence and allow them to see value in themselves. Education is the key out of poverty and harmful cultural cycles, and I plan to empower my students to create new, successful legacies.
