I am teaching virtually. In a face to face setting I am able look for cues of understanding in the faces and reactions of my students. WIth a second monitor I will be able to see them at the same time I am sharing my computer screen. Do I reinforce what we are covering or move to the next topic? This is a question that teachers are always asking themselves and reading cues for understanding will help me answer that question. The second screen will also allow me to mornitor the discussion/chat window of my students without interferring with what I have on my main screen.
