Ebooks will be used by all students in the Middle School, but will be specifically chosen for Special Education students that want to read, but also struggle with reading typical books bought for Middle School. Special Education students have the same interests as their peers, and want to read about those interests, but the text must be on their level in order for them to become a more independent reader. While our students have been able to visit the Media Center weekly during a regular school year, during Virtual Schooling, I would like to provide my students the same experience by checking out ebooks. I would like to continue to provide my students with the opportunities to check out books in order build their knowledge on topics of interest to them, and to continue building their literacy needs.

About my class
